March comes in like a lion.
A big fat lion.
With dandruff.
He lays on the front lawn
And falls asleep.
Snoring.
The trees tremble, the windows rattle
The power goes out.
He rolls over, stirs
And shakes his mighty
Dandruff flecked mane.
Mane shaking
Dandruff flaking
He disappears in a cloud of white
And the plow is called.
Careful!
He’s asleep under there
Along with the flowers
Who won’t be out to play
Today.
